Superior Plumbing & Gas is hiring a full-time Service Plumber to join our residential service team in Columbia, South Carolina. You will diagnose plumbing problems, complete repairs and installations, and provide customers with professional, dependable service.

Pay and Schedule
• Hourly & Overtime Pay- Lead Plumbers can expect to make $55,000 to $85,000, or more, per year
• Monday through Friday, generally from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM
• Occasional early starts or late finishes may be required
• No on-call rotation

Your Typical Workday
Our normal working hours are Monday through Friday from approximately 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM. Depending on the schedule and needs of our customers, there may be occasional early starts or late finishes.

As a Service Plumber, your responsibilities will include:

• Arriving on time, prepared, and ready to work
• Diagnosing residential plumbing problems
• Completing plumbing repairs, replacements, and installations
• Protecting customers’ homes and cleaning up after each job
• Maintaining a clean uniform and professional appearance
• Keeping your company vehicle, tools, and materials clean and organized
• Communicating professionally with customers, dispatchers, and other team members
• Helping create a positive customer experience from beginning to end

Minimum Qualifications
• At least two years of professional plumbing experience
• Experience diagnosing and repairing residential plumbing systems
• Ability to work independently and complete jobs correctly
• Strong communication and customer-service skills
• Ability to perform physical plumbing work in crawlspaces, attics, and outdoor conditions
• Valid driver’s license
• Acceptable driving record
• Dependable attendance and punctuality

Preferred Qualifications
• South Carolina plumbing license or contractor credentials
• Tankless water-heater experience
• Gas piping and gas-appliance experience

Superior Plumbing & Gas is looking for a dependable, hardworking Plumbing Apprentice/ Helper to join our team.

This is a great opportunity for someone who wants to learn a valuable trade and build a long-term career in plumbing. You will work alongside experienced service plumbers, gain hands-on experience, and learn how to perform plumbing repairs, installations, and drain-cleaning work.

Previous plumbing experience is preferred, but it is not required. We are willing to train the right person who shows up on time, works hard, and is eager to learn.

• Take responsibility for improving your skills and knowledge each day
